Ipoh City Council offers one-off cash assistance to hawkers and small traders

Good news for hawkers and small traders in Ipoh.

The Ipoh City Council is planning a one-off payment of RM300 for them to see through these tough times.

Ipoh City Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin  disclosed that they can apply for these payment as follows –

1. Online via https://d.mbi.gov.my/penjaja/?borang/ban_borangban
2. In person at the drive-thru PPS counter every Thursday from 9am to 2pm at Persiaran ICC Bandaraya 2, Ipoh City Council (bring along a copy of IC and bank statement or bank book statement)  
3. Submit a copy of IC and bank statement or bank book statement via WhatsApp to 011-56769612.

“We hope that this special payment will help ease the burden of the hawkers and traders.

“We encourage all categories of hawkers, small traders and public market traders licensed with MBI to apply. 

“They can submit their application along with the required documents from September 6 or call 05-2058047 during office hours for assistance,” said Dato Rumaizi in a press statement.
