The newly rebranded tourist attraction Lorong Seni@Lorong Panglima was launched by State Exco for Housing, Local Government and Tourism Dato’ Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi recently.
Also present was Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin and his team.
Among the attractions at the venue are handicraft, new and old, musical instruments and busker performances.
The deco and signage at the entrance was initiated by a team from UiTM, Seri Iskandar.
It is hoped that the new attractions will serve well to attract more visitors to the Concubine Lane.
It will also be a pedestrian zone.
Prior to the launch a public engagement session has been held with the stakeholders.
As such, the area will operate from 8am till 1pm every Saturday.
The project was made possible by the cooperation of the NCIA and the Ipoh City Council.
The project is also in line with the Visit Perak Year 2025.
