In appreciation of the services and sacrifices of the police force, Kinta Indian Social, Sports and Culture Association presented Deepavali cookies to the Perak Police Contingent in conjunction with the festival here recently.
The delegation consisting of committee members was led by its chairman P. Uvaraja.
The cookies included traditional cookies like murukku and other snacks were handed over to Perak Deputy Police chief DCP Zulkafli Sariaat.
Police welcomed the appreciation and presentation which goes to show the close rapport and cooperation with the force and public.
Also present were Perak Special Branch Chief SAC Hishammudin Mohd Amin, Criminal Investigations Department Chief SAC Luqman Abdul Rahman, Perak Contingent Administration and Management Staff Officer Superintendent Alexchantra Gabrial, association committee members P. Palaiya, M.Indran, M.Krishnan and Sebastian Sourimuthu.
