The Senior Officers Association of Ipoh City Council (PADUAN) gathered for their 37th anniversary last night.

The association continues to symbolize unity and leadership strength within the Ipoh City Council (MBI). 

Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah, expressed his appreciation to all members of PADUAN for their unwavering commitment and continuous efforts in strengthening unity and professionalism throughout more than three decades since its establishment. 

Also in attendance were Ir. Arif Mohd Zainudin, President of PADUAN; Ahmad Munir Ishak, City Secretary; along with former presidents, committee members, and senior MBI officers.

The Mayor emphasized PADUAN’s critical role as a platform for leadership development and for reinforcing strategic relationships among MBI’s senior officials. 

“PADUAN is not just an internal association; it serves as a leadership development platform that has nurtured many prominent figures in local government administration across Perak,” he said, expressing pride in the contributions of former presidents who now hold key positions in other municipal councils.

The Mayor also called on PADUAN to continue championing a culture of excellence and to play an active role in navigating the challenges of digital transformation and urban sustainability. 

The meaningful celebration also honoured retiring members and former presidents of PADUAN in recognition of their contributions to the growth of MBI.

The Mayor extended his heartfelt congratulations to PADUAN on its 37th anniversary and conveyed his appreciation to the organizing committee and all parties involved in making the event a success.
