The Ipoh City Council rewarded 20 field employees for their dedication, commitment and excellent services in their tasks for the month of January and February.
Ipoh City Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah presented appreciation certificates to 20 general service assistants ,drivers and mandor recently.
A cash award of RM100 were also credited into their bank accounts and their names displayed at strategic places and public areas.
The council recognises the contribution of the staff to maintain cleanliness and well being of the city.
The employees are from Bercham, Tanjung Rambutan, Tambun, Tasek, Simee, Taman Chempaka Zones and Task Force Unit and Solid Waste Management Unit.
The reward is to appreciate the important role of the field employees who are the backbone of the services provided by the council to ensure the well being of the city residents.
It is an initiative by the Mayor to motivate and boost the morale of the employees to maintain cleanliness, beauty and well being .
