Taichung, Taiwan – The City Secretary of the Ipoh City Council (MBI), A’zman Mohd Harun, represented the Mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Zamakhshari bin Hanipah, in receiving the Outstanding Member Promotion Award at the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO) Forum recently..
MBI received the recognition based on its strong track record and proactive commitment to participation, including taking initiatives in implementing TPO agendas, as well as consistently providing cooperation and maintaining good communication in advancing the tourism industry in Ipoh.
Also present were Ir. Ts. Haji Arif Mohd Zainudin, Director of Public Works, MBI, and Encik Mohd Sukhaile bin Mustafa, Senior Assistant Civil Engineer (Roads), Public Works, MBI.
This achievement serves as another catalyst for MBI to further strengthen excellence in service delivery and attract more tourists to Ipoh City. MBI will continue to expand strategic partnerships, explore the adoption of new technologies, and enhance tourist-friendly practices, with the aspiration of creating a safer and smarter tourist-friendly Ipoh City.
