Ipoh City Mayor Tuan Zamakhshari Hanipah is accompanying Housing and Local Government Minister Yb Nga Kor Ming at the Tomorrow City Shanghai 2026 conference.
The delegation also includes technocrats from the various city councils and government officials.
Ng also delivered a keynote address entitled – Malaysia’s Smart City Development and Future”.
Among the programs at the conference include Global Leadership Award Ceremony – World Smart City Awards: Belt and Road Region and the High Level Roundtable on Global Smart City Development
Other discussions include the “World Tomorrow City Community – Digital City Glocalization (GLOCAL) Cooperation Initiative”.
The mayor will also attend several discussions on smart city initiatives and high technology cities.
