A Proton Saga MC3 1.5 Standard awaits the lucky winner in the Ipoh City Council’s assessment rate draw for 2026.
The closing date for the lucky draw was February 28.
The car is among 228 prizes worth RM106,000 offered by the council for those who settle their payments for one year without any arrears.
Other prizes included two motorcycles, 75 inch television, refrigeratorHonor Pad,laptop,electrical goods and cash.
As an appreciation for 10,000 ratepayers who settle the bills early, the council would distribute 10,000 cutlery sets .
The draw for the lucky prizes was officiated by Ipoh City Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah on April 27.
Present were Councillors Whip Datuk Mazlan Abd Rahman, councillors,heads of departments,ketua kampung and residents representatives. The council will fix a date later to hold the lucky draw for the winners.
The council recorded 128,865 bills with a payment of RM71.42 million which is four percent higher compared to 2025 which registered 123,329 bills with payment of RM68.64 million.
