Popular pioneer coffee brand, Chang Jiang White Coffee opened their latest outlet at the People’s Park in Ipoh earlier today.
On hand to officiate the new premises – Guangdong Garden Style Café was Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin.
He was joined by Kong King Loong, managing director of Chang Jiang White Coffee and Ms Sam Foong, executive director Chang Jiang White Coffee.
Chang Jiang White Coffee is among the oldest and traditional operators offering the famous “White Coffee” at the marketplace since the 1970’s.
They started operations from a humble coffee shop Jalan Pasir Putih to grow to what they are today.
They also produce several brands like Serbuk Kopi dan Teh for the local market.
They also own the “Rumah Style Café” at Jalan Windsor, “Kopitiam Style Café” at Bangunan Casuarina and now the “Guangdong Garden Style Café “ di People’s Park.
Chang Jiang now hopes to introduce Ipoh White Coffee to visitors to the People’s Park along with the techniques of processing and manufacturing the popular product.
They will also showcase the various dishes from Guangdong for the benefit of the younger generation.
Other attractions at the venue are the mini stalls like the “Small Village Town” offering handicrafts for locals and tourists, there are also Malay and Indian stalls.
They also offer small traders to set up their businesses at People’s Park to market their home-made products.
