Perak’s newly appointed State Exco for Tourism, Industry, Investment and Corridor Development, Loh Sze Yee launched Chinese New Year celebration programmes at Lorong Panglima.
He was joined by Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin, Nurmalis Musa, chief executive officer of Tourism Perak among others.
The various programmes are organised by Tourism Perak and the Ipoh City Council.
Visitors will be able to enjoy various activities like lion dance, Chinese drums performance and stalls promoting local festive products.
It is hoped that more people will converge at the site and indirectly promote tourism in conjunction with CNY and Visit Ipoh Year 2023.
