The new venue for Ipoh Learning & Training Institute (ILTI) was officially launched virtually on Saturday Nov 27, 2021.
The occasion marked a brand new milestone in its 35-year long history with its relocation to a bigger, all-purpose hub. The new hub is located along Jalan Woodward.
Guest-of-honour was the Deputy Education Minister, Dato Dr Mah Hang Soon along with Bonanza Educare director of education, Ms Evelyn Chen among others.
In his address Dato Dr Mah said that the opening marks an important day in their lives as they close one chapter in their learning journey and embark on an exciting new experience after this.
“No matter where they continue their primary education, I am confident Kinder Labz has set a strong foundation for them to excel and become valuable global citizens.
“As much as we want to provide our children with a solid education background, it is equally important to raise children who are resilient. We want our children to be able to adapt to any situation, in any part of the world. They
must be able to communicate and work with people from all walks of life,” said Mah.
He also congratulated Dato Lim and ILTI on the official opening of its new hub. ILTI has been a household name in Ipoh when it comes to learning Cambridge English.
“English is the language of international communication. We use English in all aspects of our lives, not just in our studies. English is not just the language of science, technology, and medicine, it is also used in trade, commerce, the media and the internet,” added Mah.
In the meantime, Chen, said ILTI, which is famed for covering all levels of Cambridge English Assessment, would be able to support more students safely and expand its popular portfolio of English classes at the new hub.
“At the same time, bigger classrooms and updated facilities means ILTI, which already offers English, HSK Mandarin and core subjects across primary and secondary education, including Mathematics, Science, Physics, Chemistry, and
Biology, will be able to offer even more courses in future.
Apart from creating a more modern learning environment, the new venue offers facilities such as a café and a secret garden to give students an avenue to relax and unwind from their hectic study lives.
The Kinder Labz kindergarten’s Annual Graduation Ceremony was also held on the same day.
