The Ipoh City Council distributed 2,000 packets of bubur lambuk to council workers, local residents and members of the public.
Present was Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin and his team.
The programme was part of the council’s initiatives as a corporate social responsibility programme during Ramadan.
Also present was council secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak among others.
Volunteers from the council had started preparations as early as 7.30am to cook the bubur lambuk.
It is hoped that such activities will foster goodwill and harmony among the council employees.
