The Ipoh City Council mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin flagged off a convoy to help the Kuala Langat Town Council carry out evacuation and other relief efforts.
The team consisted of two 4×4 vehicles, two lorries, three vans and a boat.
The team was flagged off from the Gunung Lang Recreational Park.
They will also bring along 100 packs of the council’ s food aid. They are accompanied by some 23 personnel to help out in relief efforts.
Also present at the flag-off was council secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak. The delegation will also help in areas in Selangor and Pahang.
