Ipoh city is set to welcome the Thai hospitality brand – Dusit Princess brand soon.
The new hotel – Dusit Princess Ipoh will bring the internationally recognised Dusit brand to the city, further strengthening the city’s growing appeal as a destination for both leisure and business travellers.
Dusit Princess is one of the hotel brands under Thailand-based Dusit International, a leading hospitality and property development group with a growing presence across Asia and beyond.
Following the launch of Dusit Princess Melaka in December 2024, Dusit Princess Ipoh will mark another step in the group’s expansion in Malaysia. The brand is known for combining contemporary comfort and practical amenities with Dusit’s signature Thai-inspired gracious hospitality.
They are also launching their ASAI Hotels with the opening of ASAI Gamuda Cove on September 15, 2026. The 13-storey hotel is located within the 1,530-acre Gamuda Cove township, approximately 20 minutes by car from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
With Ipoh gaining popularity for its rich heritage, distinctive food culture, surrounding limestone landscapes and growing tourism appeal, the arrival of Dusit Princess is expected to add another international hospitality option to the city.
For Ipoh, the arrival of a Thai international hotel brand could add further diversity to the city’s accommodation landscape while introducing Dusit’s established approach to service and hospitality to visitors and residents alike.
