Ipoh City Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah went to the ground to inspect two Taman Rekreasi Madani (TRM) projects following complaints from residents on the quality of work and physical completion of the parks here recently.
The mayor was accompanied by Pasir Pinji Assemblyman Goh See Hua, Ipoh City Council’s heads of departments and representative of the contractor to TRM Taman Boon Pak and Taman Pengkalan Barat.
This is a follow-up after the issue was brought up with the wakil rakyat during a meeting on July 4.
During the inspection several issues were raised including dissatisfaction of the work and the urgent need to make improvements on the project.
The contractor had been instructed to carry out the repair work as soon as possible to adhere to the council’s standard to fulfill the community’s well-being.
The council is committed to ensure all development projects are of high quality, give positive impact and bring benefits in the long run for Ipoh residents.
