Her Royal Highness the Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim graciously officiated the launch of the Perak Pawsitive Initiative 2025 for Kinta District.
The campaign is a subsidised dog and cat neutering programme held at the Red Crescent Hall in Ipoh.
The event was also attended by the wife of Perak Menteri Besar, Datin Seri Aezer Zubin, YB Puan Sandrea Ng Shy Ching, Chairperson of the Perak State Housing and Local Government Committee; and Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah among others.
This program is implemented as an initiative to strengthen public awareness on responsible pet ownership, control the population of stray animals, and promote ethical neutering practices through subsidized support.
This effort not only benefits animal welfare but also contributes to community well-being and environmental sustainability in the State of Perak.
