More much needed assistance came in the way of the recent twister hit area residents in Taman Tasek Damai here.
Renowned local developer Kinta Properties has come forward to foot the cost of repairs to the tune of RM40,000 for some 44 affected houses in the area as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
On hand to visit the site was the Director of Kinta Properties Sdn Bhd, Edwin Tan Beow Aik along with Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin today.
Also present was Ipoh City Council councillor Mohd Rafaad Razali and Deputy Director of the State Engineering Department, Arif Mohd Zainudin among others.
The repair work will be carried out for houses along Jalan Tawas Baru 2 and Jalan Tawas 12, Taman Tasek Damai.
Repair work will start from today and is expected to be completed by Feb 19, 2022.
Nevertheless, Kinta Properties are willing to increase their budget for the repair work project if needed.
