The office of Nanning state Foreign Affairs Department made an official visit to Ipoh City Council earlier today.
They were led by Ms Peng Jian, Director of the office of the Foreign Affairs Nanning state, China.
They were greeted by Perak State Exco for Housing and Local Government, Ms Sandrea Ng Shy Ching and Ipoh City Council Mayor, Dato Rumaizi Baharin.
Also present were other heads of departments and tourism officials.
The visit hopes to foster greater and better relationships between the two cities.
It is also hoped that the visit will bring economic benefits, cultural, investment opportunities and scientific cooperation between Ipoh and Nanning.
