Members of the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) made a courtesy call on Ipoh City Mayor, Zamakhshari Hanipah at his office recently.
The PCCCI team and delegation, led by its President Datuk Liew Chee Ming met the mayor to discuss various matters of mutual interest..
The objective of the meeting among others was to strengthen ties between the Chinese business community and the council, especially enhancing the local economic activities in the city .
PCCCI also shared several views and made a number of proposals.
This includes improving the investment climate, smooth methods and ways of conducting businesses and supporting sustainable development
Initiatives for a friendly investment environment.
The mayor in his address welcomed the initiatives and commitment by the chamber.
He assured the council would continue the close collaboration with the various sectors of industries to empower the economy and improve the well being of the residents in the city.
