A group of 32 pupils from Sekolah Kebangsaan Raja Perempuan Ipoh (SK RPS) visited Konti Radio TV MBI recently.
The delegation were led by the school’s headmaster Muszalipah Ahmad Yahya, teachers and Parent Teachers Association (PTA) committee members.
The group were briefed on the station’s functions and operations by Ipoh City Council’s Public Relations Officer Mohd Syahrizal Azmi who is also the station’s manager.
The pupils were also taken on a tour of the council’s meeting hall.
The highlight of the visit was when two pupils Nur Amni Zulaikha Mohd Asri and Nur Husna Safiyyah Fadzril Reza, the headmaster and teacher Nurhajira Abdul Rahman were invited as guests to be interviewed by DJs Farah and Izman over the air.
The visit gave the students an early insight of broadcasting and media management apart from enhancing their general knowledge and build up self confidence.
Radio TV MBI welcomed the group as it indirectly promotes MBI’S media channel and at the same time strengthen ties with the local education community.
