The Perak state government will subsidize the health services for stray dogs and cats to ensure their well-being.
The services include neutering these animals.
State Exco Housing, Local Government and Tourism, Dato’ Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi disclosed this when launching the Street Cat Festival 2021 at The Treasure @ Herb Garden in Gopeng
She added that beginning next year, the local government division will organize a seasonal campaign by offering subsidies for health services , such as the neutering for stray animals.
“The subsidies will come from the state government and contributions from non-governmental organizations (NGOs),” she added.
