Perak State Secretary Datuk Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, 55, is among two individuals inducted as members of Kelab Bakti Gunung Keledang at its Malam Mesra event held at Royal Perak Golf Club here recently.
The other person is Akmal Abd Hamid, 34, who is the Bentalam Sdn Bhd Director.
The club formed in 1977 has 61 members.
Also present were Perak State Assembly Speaker Datuk Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid, State Financial Officer Datuk Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Ipoh City Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah, MACC Perak Director Datuk Ahmad Sabri Mohamed, Orang Besar Orang Besar, Government Linked Companies (GLC) officers and other dignitaries.
Apart from guests enjoying the dinner, Ahmad Sabri gave a talk on corruption.
Kelab President Muhammad Hamzah Md Hamdan in his speech said:” in line with the state’s Perak Sejahtera agenda to produce highly skilled human capital it had set up two academic skills centre.
“They are located at Medan Gopeng for culinary and tailoring at Medan Istana.The centres are in the final phase of equipping the facilities.
“The club believes that through the relevant skills education with high impact, Perak will move forward and face the challenges,” he added.
