BP Healthcare Group donated a whopping RM200,000 to Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) along Jalan Raja Musa Aziz in Ipoh for the building of the “first artificial grass tennis court”.
The new high-tech court will make the sixth court for the association.
The generous contribution was part of BP Healthcare’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
On hand to hand over the mock cheque was BP Healthcare’s vice president Garvy Beh to YMCA president Datuk Daniel Tay.
They later performed the ground breaking ceremony.
Present to witness the initiative was BP Healthcare ambassadors, Goh Liu Ying and Leong Mun Yee.
Beh also revealed that BP Healthcare had also carried out numerous charitable projects to help the needy and underprivileged during the Covid-19 pandemic.
