The Taiping Zoo and Night Safari has just become the first virtual zoo in Asia.
They have just launched the ‘MyZooTaiping’ platform for the viewing pleasure of their audience.
On hand to officiate the launching ceremony was state exco for Housing, Local Government and Tourism Datuk Nolee Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi.
“The new venture will put a new dimension for tourists and visitors to the zoo. With this new initiative, the conservation and educational aspect at the zoo can be delivered right to the homes,” said Datuk Nolee.
She also added that the objective of the virtual platform is to create awareness on the conservation of the various animals.
“This programme is an initiative by the Taiping Local Council,” she added.
