The Ipoh City Council was a big winner in the Perak State Level Environment Day 2021 celebrations.
They won in three categories namely, for Fastest Collection of E-Waste, Most Collection of E-Waste and for organising the Most Programmes related to E-Waste.
Repesenting the Ipoh City Council was its secretary, Ahmad Munir who received the awards from Perak Menteri Besar Dato Saarani Mohamad.
The competition involved all of the local councils in the state.
The award ceremony was held at the Selama District Hall.
