The Haven All Suite Resort, located in Tambun in Ipoh which is also known as the “town that tin built”, is credited in bringing in more than 80,000 foreign tourists from more than 60 countries to the city and the state of Perak.
To-date, they have also won more than 63 international and local awards and are still counting.
Other than offering comfortable accommodation in a green and lucious setting, they have comprehensive facilities at the resort.
Among them are their fully-equipped gym, spa, steam room, jogging track, tennis court, half basketball court, table tennis room, badminton and squash court.
There is also a meditation deck, outdoor playground, junior playroom, poolside bar and restaurant and shuttle services. They also have plenty of indoor and outdoor venues to host conferences, meetings and events.
Chief executive officer, Peter Chan said that despite the setback during the pandemic lockdown business has bounced back again as locals are eager to travel.
“One can hardly find a place more unique than The Haven All Suite Resort. And being just 15 mins from the Ipoh city centre is just so convenient. Another great attraction is that the resort has been designed to cater for families. For the five-star hospitality operations, the resort has 150 units of mostly two to three bedrooms.
“We designed the rooms in such a way that families could stay most comfortably together. We have very good security at the resort and know who is coming in and going out. Visitors have restricted access to the registered floor and units,” said Chan to Ipoh Hyperlocal.
The resort also has a specially designed sea-horse shaped outdoor swimming pool and it is popular with the children and families, and having a hot water spa is a most attractive added bonus.
It is therefore not surprising that The Haven is a recipient of the prestigious Global Winners for All-inclusive Family Resort and for Award for the Luxury Wedding Venue.
Other outdoor locations in the resort include the Lake Garden, Rock Garden, Amphitheatre, Helipad, Clubhouse and Gallery Rooftops. Indoor locations are The Haven Ballroom, Premiere Restaurant, Cuisines Restaurant, Gallery and Seminar Rooms.
Another attractive feature of the resort is in its food and menu. Its Cuisines Restaurant serves international, Malaysian and Middle Eastern food. The restaurant has been rated No. 1 out of 528 restaurants in Ipoh by TripAdvisor, an online travel rating agency.
They also actively promote local food like curry mee, laksa, nasi lemak and Ipoh chicken rice.
Chan had even launched a guide book entitled “Eatpoh” to promote Ipoh as a food destination.
Over the years, they have also hosted visitors from France, the United States of America, Australia, Singapore, Korea and Japan.
In keeping up this momentum, they also have a mega project in the pipeline, The Haven Bintan Lagoi Bay in Indonesia.
Syabas to The Haven All Suite Resort for the commendable achievement of promoting Ipoh and the state of Perak as a leading tourism destination.
