Ipoh-based Hovid Berhad has won the prestigious Silver Award at the Export Excellence Awards 2021 presentation ceremony at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur recently.
They were recognised for the award in the category of consumer products for mid-tier and large companies.
On hand to receive the award was their Chief Financial Officer, Ms Michelle Ho.
This is the second time Hovid has received recognition for its export achievements and success in the international arena.
Hovid has been in the market since 1980.
They have some 400 products which are being distributed across 50 countries globally, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and part of America.
Hovid Berhad managing director, David Howho was elated with the award and added that they are experiencing increasing demand for hygiene products and personal protection due to the pandemic.
One of their promising products is the Tocovid SupraBio which is a form of vitamin E, extracted naturally from palm oil.
