A group of 30 travel agents from Vietnam had the opportunity to explore the extraordinary beauty and also dine at the Kepura Cave at Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh recently.
On hand to welcome them were Perak Tourism, Industry, Investment and Corridor Development Committee Chairman YB Loh Sze Yee, tourism department and organisation officials and Lost World of Tambun management team.
The Vietnam group was on a familiarisation trip organised by Tourism Malaysia Ho Chi Minh City and Batik Air.
The visitors received first hand information on Visit Ipoh Year 2023 and Visit Perak Year 2024 apart from savoring the delicious feast showcasing the flavors of Perak’s rich cuisine.
State Exco for Tourism, Loh also took time to guide the marketing executive of Tourism Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City, Ms Nguyen Vu Ai Nhu on how to make roti tumbuk during the dinner session.
The other attraction on the list was the Gua Tempurung Cave which gave an opportunity for the visitors to venture into the depths of the cave, marvelling at its stunning limestone formations and embracing its breathtaking beauty.
It is hoped that the firsthand experience with Perak’s natural wonders will enable agents to share captivating stories and entice their clients in Vietnam to embark on their own unforgettable adventures in Perak.
