Perak Menteri Besar Dato Seri Saarani Mohamed was on hand to launch the Visit Perak Year 2024 yesterday.
The grand event was held at the Silverlakes Village Outlet in Batu Gajah where some 15,000 guests attended.
Among them was Perak Tourism Exco YB Loh Sze Yee, Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin, Tourism Perak chief executive officer, Nurmalis Musa and other state government officials.
The colourful ceremony hopes to promote the state on a world stage and attract local and foreign travellers.
Of late, Ipoh has become a hive of activity offering rich culture, heritage, tradition and not forgetting its tasty food too.
So, if you have not visited Ipoh and the state of Perak lately, do make it a point to make a trip to the Silver state soonest.
