Ipoh-based health and wellness company, BioFri carried out a corporate social responsibility (CSR) project to help the needy and underprivileged within the Ipoh community recently.

The beneficiaries this time around were the Lovely Villa Home Care, Pusat Jagaan Seri Cahaya, Victory Care Centre and Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Orang Kurang Upaya.

The homes were provided with water filters, fogging machines, commode chairs, four-legged canes, wheelchairs, mineral water and adult pampers.

BioFri founder, Frida Khong and her team of well-wishers were on hand to show support and encouragement.

“We wanted to show our care and concern to these homes which are in dire need of support from the community. We hope that our gesture will bring some cheer to the residents and caretakers,” said Frida.

In total, the contribution to the homes amounted to RM18,000 in all.
Lending support was the assemblyman for Pasir Pinji, Howard Lee who also donated RM1,000 towards the good cause.

Guests and residents were also entertained with Christmas carols by a local troupe.

For the uninitiated, BioFri is an Amino Antioxidant Collagen beverage that restores and regenerates skin cells, tissues and organs.
