The Rotary Club of Greentown is organizing the Professional Caregivers Training Programme on May 2 from 8.30am to 2pm with several renowned panelists in the medical industry.
It is open to doctors, nurses and allied health care workers and medical students. Registration is free and participants will be given e certificates.
Among the facilitators are Rotarian Dr Monesh Pillai and Past President Dato Dr Sushil K Ratti.
Among the speakers are Dr Nor Azlina Abu Bakar from Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Dr Cheah Wee Kooi from Hospital Taiping, Dr Lee Fatt Soon (retired Head of Geriatric and Head of Medicine Hospital Kuala Lumpur).
Also sharing their knowledge are Dr Chan Yee Fai, Dr Ng Li-Ling, Prof Dr Esther Ebenezer and Dr Ravi Samuel.
The online seminar will discuss disease progression from early stage to late stage and its management, to conduct assessment on people with Dementia, to acquire knowledge on the available pharmacological treatments and more.
