After a hiatus of three months due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Impiana Hotel Ipoh re-opens for members of the public tomorrow (Sept 1, 2021).
The hotel had served as the venue for the state assembly sitting from Aug 25, 2021.
The premier hotel which is located along Jalan Raja Dr Nazrin Shah had opened under the “bubble concept” involving four elements namely accommodation, transportation, extension of the conference space and daily Covid-19 tests.
“Perak is the first state to implement the bubble concept for the state assembly sitting which involves the Speakers, assemblymen and officers on duty,” said State Speaker Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid.
Discussion rooms and online meeting facilities were also provided for the assemblymen at the hotel.
Meanwhile, Impiana Hotel Ipoh general manager, Gerard Sta Maria said that they will only open 60 rooms and offer takeaways from tomorrow.
“We are proud to have been chosen as the official hotel in the Bubble Concept for the DUN Perak with very stringent SOPs were implemented,” said Gerard to Ipoh Hyperlocal.
Guests are advised to use hand sanitizers provided, check temperature, wear face masks and observe one-metre social distancing at all times.
