What better way to celebrate the first anniversary of your organisation than to lend a helping hand to the needy and underprivileged.
Health supplement brand, Biofri celebrated its first anniversary and launch of its new product at the Excelsior Hotel in Ipoh.
Also present were representatives from Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Orang Kurang Upaya and Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Anak-anak Yatim Kasih Sayang.
They both received RM1,000 each and sponsored goods.
BioFri founder, Frida Khong was on hand to present the donation and other equipment.
“Caring for the community is part and parcel of our organisation. We hope that with Deepavali around the corner, it will bring some early cheer,” she said.
Among them were water purifiers, wheelchairs, masks, hand sanitisers, gloves and adult diapers.
Guests were treated to a hearty lunch and entertainment by local performer Brian Mathew Dourado.
