Ipoh- based Sathya Sai Organisation Centre  (SSIO) embarked on a food distribution programme in the city.

Moreover, the non-stop charity project has been carried out since 2021.

Food is given out every Sunday around 12pm for about 150 needy people among the community.

The focus of food distribution is around the Kinta  Heights Flats at old town, Waller court DBI flats,

Jalan CM Yusuf area opposite the Olympia College and around the Store Supermarket on a first come first serve basis.

The food packets which are donated by society members and well-wishers weekly and all Sundays has been already booked till mid 2025.

The food packets cost about RM350 to RM600 depending on the contents – just palin nasi lemak with egg or chicken rice.

This is one of the many regular service activities carried out by the organisation as a service to humanity – feeding the hungry as food being a basic human necessity for survival, whether rich or poor.

Syabas to Sathya Sai Organization Centre for the commendable deed.
