It was a timely community project when the Rotary Club of Kinta along with the Blood Bank of the Hospital Raja Permaisuri Perak carried out a blood donation drive at the Aeon Kinta recently.
During the on-going pandemic, the blood bank had put out a call for donors as they are running low on reserves.
The donation drive was held from 10am to 4pm.
By the end of the day, they managed to garner some 70 pints of blood donated by the public from all walks of life.
Donors were presented with certificates of appreciation for their noble deed..
