With the fasting month on the horizon, the Excelsior Hotel in Ipoh gave away bubur lambuk to passers-by as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
Present was Perak State Exco for Tourism, Investment and Corridor Development YB Loh Sze Yee along with hotel operations manager T. Rajah and his team.
Some 4,000 packets of bubur lambuk were distributed to people of all walks of life.
They started the distribution from 10am till 5pm.
Joining the distribution ceremony was Ipoh City Council’s Zulkifle Jaafar Sidek, director of Services who represented Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin.
The CSR ceremony was a great success judging from the response from the members of the public.
