A total of 16 underprivileged people with hearing defects received hearing aids thanks to Swiss Medi Care Sdn Bhd which donated the equipment worth RM92,000 at Pure Sound Tech Enterprise, here on Tuesday ( October 24.)
Managing Director of Swiss Medi Care, Vincent Cheong presented a mock cheque to Persatuan Kebajikan Amal Makmur Negeri Perak who was represented by its secretary K. Nachemutu.
The association will identify the recipients and refer them to Pure Sound Tech for ear tests.
Five patients had already undergone examinations on Tuesday.
Chairman of the State Human Resources, Health, Indian Community Affairs any National Integration Committee, A. Sivanesan was also present at the event.
