Good news for Ipohites.
The Kinta Riverwalk will reopen on Dec 31, 2021. The popular venue has been upgraded with a RM3 million budget.
The reopening augers for the tourism and hospitality in the city. The reopening is also part of the New year 2022 celebrations.
Several activities have been planned in conjunction with the launch. Among them are the buskers presentation, Perak Cartoon Fest, Music Fest, Aerobatic Challenge and more.
Monthly shows like the traditional oil lamp show, Lion dance, Chinese drums, traditional Indian dance, Christmas and New Year shows.
Among the eight outlets which are expected to operate are the MIKER, Restoran Mat Periuk, Restoran Kitchen Arang Batu, Hadramout, Ipoh Barber & Comber dan Skill of Art from 8am till 12am in conjunction with the New Year.
Three iconic bridges will light up the night in the concept of “Glow In The Dark”.
There will also be iconic outlets like the Hipster, Heritage, and Health (3H). Members of the public can also enjoy food, drinks and handicrafts at the venue.
Kinta Riverwalk is expected to be another tourist attraction in the city. Syabas to the Ipoh City Council for the commendable project.
