In an effort to enhance comfort for visitors to the Tun Razak Library in Ipoh, Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI) will be undertaking an upgrade of the air-conditioning system this year.
For this purpose, an allocation of RM700,000 has been approved under MBI’s development budget.
The scope of works includes upgrading the electrical wiring, air-conditioning system, as well as improvements to toilet facilities.
The upgrading works are expected to commence in March 2026 and will be carried out in phases to ensure that daily operations are not disrupted.
In addition, MBI continues to conduct periodic fountain cleaning works as part of its ongoing maintenance efforts to preserve cleanliness and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the urban environment.
