Perak Tourism Awards 2024 is making a comeback after a hiatus of six years.
The event will be held at Casuarina Meru Hotel on September 13.
Perak Tourism Committee chairman Loh Sze Yee said this year a new concept of nomination through online had been introduced.
The exco member was speaking to reporters after the soft launch of the awards here yesterday.
The award is presented to tourism industry players to recognise their efforts and commitment to boost the sector in the state.
A total of 40 awards will be up for grabs in 10 categories including accommodation, services, tourism products, food and others segments.
A five man jury had been appointed not only from the tourism sector but academicians and corporate figures.
Nominations will be open on May 1 until June 30.
