The American tourists enjoying their lunch at the Impiana Hotel Ipoh

A group of American tourists visited Ipoh to take in the sights and scenery in the “town that tin built” recently.

They took in the places of interest in the city and also went to the royal town of Kuala Kangsar.

The group is actually on a 10-days trip from Singapore and also visited Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands and will make their final stop in Penang.

All ground services were handled by World Express (M) Sdn Bhd.

While in Ipoh the group also stopped over at the Impiana Hotel Ipoh for a taste of local and international dishes for their lunch. On hand to welcome them at the hotel was the director of sales and marketing Normah Ahmad and her team.

The group later proceeded on their journey to Penang.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the tour agency added that they hope to welcome more tourists from the United States to Ipoh.

With Ipoh becoming a favourite destination for local and foreign tourists, surely this is a positive development for the tourism industry here and its stakeholders.
