Ex-Perak Menteri Besar and Ex-Advisor to the Prime Minister, Dato Seri Ahmad Faisal Azumu or “Peja” to friends was appointed the Minister of Youth and Sports in the new cabinet under Prime Minister Dato Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
In a brief statement posted on his FB, Faisal thanked the King and Prime Minister on the appointment.
“I will serve to the best of my ability and that sports will bring a good name to the country.
“My experience in the Youth sector will also enable me to motivate and energize the youth.
“The Youth and Sports Ministry has a vital role in making the “Keluarga Malaysia” a success,” he said.
